Little Footprints Foundation works in partnership with local non-profit organizations to achieve its objectives, recognizing their essential role in understanding community needs and delivering impactful, sustainable programs. Listed below are some of the organizations we are currently working, as well as those we have worked with in the past.

Grants for children's Home

The Residential Schools run by nuns of congregation of mother of Carmel, Udaya province Irinjalakuda plays a vital role in providing holistic education and care to children from rural, underprivileged, and Indigenous (Adivasi) communities. For many of these children, the residential facility serves as a safe and nurturing home that ensures stability, dignity, and equal access to quality education.
The school offers a structured residential environment where students receive nutritious meals, healthcare support, academic guidance, and moral and value-based formation. Indigenous children, in particular, benefit from the residential facility as it helps overcome challenges arising from remote living conditions, limited access to schools, long travel distances, and socio-economic hardships.

Our organization extends its support through a monthly grant to assist the Carmelite nuns in running and sustaining this residential facility. This grant contributes directly towards the essential operational expenses, including accommodation, food, healthcare, educational materials, utilities, and the general upkeep of the residence. Continued assistance strengthens the residential school’s capacity to nurture responsible, confident, and socially conscious individuals, thereby creating lasting positive impact within Indigenous and marginalized communities.
We are currently supporting 53 children residing at St. John the Baptist children’s home at Pariyaram and another 35 children residing at the St. Josephs Snehabhavan at Vynthala.

Society of Vincent de Paul

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul plays a vital role in addressing the needs of vulnerable and marginalized families through sustained community-based service activities. Guided by the values of charity, dignity, and solidarity, the Society provides timely support to individuals and families facing economic, health, and social challenges within the local community.
The Society’s activities in Pariyaram include monthly financial assistance to economically disadvantaged families, helping them meet essential expenses such as food, education, medical treatment, and basic living costs. The Society also undertakes housing support and small housing improvement projects for families living in unsafe or inadequate conditions, thereby promoting safe and dignified living environments.
In addition, the Society regularly carries out the distribution of essential supplies, including food provisions, clothing, school materials, and basic household items, particularly for families experiencing acute hardship. Healthcare assistance forms a key component of its outreach, with support provided for eye care treatments and dialysis care for individuals who are unable to afford ongoing medical expenses.
Little Footprints Foundation extends its support in the form of a monthly grant to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Pariyaram. This monthly grant enables the Society to plan and implement its activities on a continuous basis, respond promptly to urgent needs, and provide consistent assistance to beneficiaries. The grant directly supports financial aid to families, housing initiatives, essential supply distribution, and medical care for those in need.
Through this monthly grant support, we contribute to strengthening the Society’s capacity to serve the poor and vulnerable with dignity and compassion. Continued monthly assistance helps build a more resilient and caring community in Pariyaram, improving the quality of life of families and individuals facing hardship.

Stand with Kerala – Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund

Little Footprints contributed towards the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund during the devastating Kerala floods of 2018 through the “Stand with Kerala” event organized by the Kerala Cultural Association of British Columbia. The floods, triggered by unprecedented monsoon rains, caused rivers to overflow and landslides across the state, leading to extensive loss of life, displacement of thousands of families, and severe damage to homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods. Community-driven initiatives such as “Stand with Kerala” played a crucial role in mobilizing support and providing much-needed relief for rescue, rehabilitation, and rebuilding efforts.
